The XVIIth edition of L'Isola del Cinema®, with the celebrations of 150 years of the Unification of Italy, will be entitled Italian Talents.
The first target of L'Isola del Cinema® is enhancing Italian Cinema; it is made by the choice of quality films, entered into two sections: New Italian Cinema, which aims to promote new talents and their works and Cantiere Italia, dedicated to already successful cinematic authors.
The second edition of the Isola Mondo Festival, which also this year will enhance the internationality of the capital, will propose International Cinema, with a particular focus on countries with a strong Italian emigration as Australia, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Germany , Uruguay. We are developing contact also with Embassies, Cultural Institutes and Foreign Film Productions in: China, Japan, India, Indonesia, Israel, Morocco, Nigeria, Poland, Russia, Turkey.
The Tiber Island is established as the International salon for Cinema, Culture and Entertainment in 2011, how was Via Veneto in the '60s. For this seventeenth edition, many will be guests from the worlds of cinema and culture: directors, actors, writers, poets, writers, even many personalities representing the Italian and international Institutions.
Walking along the banks of the Tiber Island you will enjoy many proposals, in the summer breeze with the notes of the best soundtracks of films, a unique place, which was defined by the UNESCO a World Heritage Site.
